2017 – 2022 , Iโve had quite a journey!
Picture on the left is when I weighed 79 kilos , nothing less than a XXL would fit , never knew what is a gym. I was one year into losing my dad and there was zero motivation to do anything. Ate biryanis at midnight 3am in the name of depression and wanted to leave to New York hoping something might change me there, because clearly weโre โout of handsโ here according to the family and society!
What lead to the picture on the right ?
when someone casually addressed me as an โauntyโ and that 21 year old couldnโt handle being called so. Ego was hurt..
For the first time I walked into @antony.arnoldfitnessgym โs gym and he made sure I kept walking for next 4 years. I still remember how antony held my crying face in front of the mirror and said โ donโt give up , letโs show them what you can do.โ Fighting with depression, food habits , lifestyle is one thing and landing into a ligament tear is another. The pain was excruciating but not enough to stop me there.
Today in 2022 I weigh 25 kilos lesser than what I used to. Funny part is now I get to hear how cute I looked when I was chubby. Lol.
I met @kc.makeyoufit who completely cleared all my myths. I no longer starve. I lift , I squat and I eat. I feel phenomenal. I only do things that make me happy. I do not allow anyone to mistreat me or tell me that thereโs anything I cannot do , I stopped pleasing people and started to keep my friends limited. I fell in love with who I am and thereโs no looking back.
