The official title and the first look of Thalapathy60 – Bairavaa has been released yesterday evening and has been making quite a buzz in the news. Now Bairavaa being an interesting title was also the title for Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming movie. The actor-director-choreographer Raghava Lawrence was planning to work on the film Bairavaa after his much expected commercial cop movie Motta Siva Ketta Siva.
But when the Thalapathy 60 team decided to name their movie as Bairavaa, Lawrence was the first person to be approached since he has got the rights for that title. However after much speculation Raghava Lawrence decided to give up the name for his Nanban Vijay, and also told that he might rename his movie as Kaala Bairavaa.
Irony is that similar kind of situation happened with the Vedhalam team. After much discussion the Siruthai Siva- Ajith kumar team decided to name their movie as Vedhalam. Only later did they realise that the same title was booked by Raghava Lawrence. But however when the Ajith-Siva’s crew approached Lawrence, he said the title will be a gift to Ajith sir from him.
It seems that Raghava lawrence has always had a knack for choosing titles that attract masses. Ajith and Vijay are indeed crowd pullers, and so are their titles for the movies.
