Mariappan Thangavelu who has bagged a gold in Paralympics 2016 for High Jump is on cloud nine, since the wishes are pouring from everywhere. Mariappan who hails from a village near Salem has been offered a sum of 2 Crore rupees from the state Government and all the celebrities took it online to wish the youngster on his win.
Ilayathalapathy Vijay also congratulated the athlete on his win through Facebook. Mariappan answered that he will be using the prize money to repay the loan amount that he has got for his medical expenses.
