Earlier it was known that Vijay releases his Bairavaa for Pongal and Vishal later announced that his Kaththi Sandai will be releasing in Pongal too. Makers of Kaththi Sandai who were postponing the release of the movie due to unrest prevailing among the public due to demonetization announced that Kaththi Sandai is scheduled for Pongal. After Vijay and Vishal, it is Santhanam who has joined the Pongal race with his Server Sundaram.
Confirming the news, Kenanya Films which is funding the project with Santhanam said that the movie is currently in its post-production phase and will be a Pongal release. The makers also have G.V.Prakashās Bruce Lee and Ulkuthu in their cards. Ulkuthu is scheduled for a mid-December release which will be followed by Bruce Lee.
The third movie up on the line for the production house is Santhanamās āServer Sundaramā which will have the comedian turned actor don the role of a five star hotel chef. Debutant director Anand Balki is donning the director hat and Santhosh Narayanan is composing music for the flick. Debutante Vaibhavi ShandilyaĀ plays the female lead.
