The scene has a radio show discussing the options to curb the black money, when a beggar makes a call to the live show and suggests the demonetisation of 500 and 1000 rs notes. After the Shocking announcement by PMO of the nation Kollywood took it to twitter to connect the this scene with the PMOs decision. Just after the news got out, the actor Govindhamoorthy who acted the role of beggar and RJ Ophelia who comes in a character who questions the beggar have been getting calls praising the actors for the scene.
Govindarajan says that he has been getting calls since the evening of the announcement and doesn’t seem to stop. He also said that the director Sasi is the one who needs to be praised for writing such a thought provoking scene.
