Elizabeth Lail Instagram – I went into my local hardware store today for the first time to buy all that I would need to do this project. A Tape measure, level, screw driver, a power drill. I obviously had no idea what I was doing and they were kind enough to show me how to use these tools. They wished me luck and gave me the card of a handy man who could do the job for me. I went home today and seriously considered just calling and having someone else do it. I doubted my abilities, and knew it would be easier. But I have found doing the hard thing far more rewarding. So here I am attempting to hang my own curtains. Thanks to YouTube, and my parents advice “Measure twice, cut once,” I managed to do it! As I look to my curtains now, they bring me great joy, because they remind me that I am capable of far more than I believe myself to be. Be bold, be brave, be courageous. Even in the small things.
