Karthik Subburaj after the success of Iraivi was waiting to direct his next project with Dhanush. The director and the actor gave heads up that the movie might be a gangster flick. The Jigarthanda director said that he has started working for the script. The sources close to the director reported that the team is on a look out for another actor to play the villain to Dhanush.
Dhanush who has been busy with the number of projects that he was involved with will be busy for the next few months too. He announced that he would be starting Karthik Subburaj’s project from the month of October.  Dhanush will be producing Rajini-Ranjith movie that is to be kickstarted from 28th of May. Dhanush also has signed a Hollywood movie that will go on floors from the month of June.
Meanwhile Karthik Subburaj was on the lookout for doing a small movie before the start of Dhanush project. He got a chance to narrate a script to Prabhudeva and the choreographed turned actor gave away his dates to the director.
Prabhudeva who is currently doing Yang Mang Sang and Gulebakavali will also be doing Karthik Subburaj’s project alongside. The team has planned to shoot the entire movie in one single schedule. Karthik’s team is now on the lookout for actresses to play the female lead. The hunt is on for the technical crew too.
Prabhudeva has also agreed to direct Karthi and Vishal in a movie titled Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja. The movie is still on cards and the choreographer turned director will also take care of scripting of the project alongside his acting commitments.
