Touted to be the most promising movie in Thalapathy Vijay’s career, ‘Mersal’ has been making news ever since its announcement for all the right reasons. Directed by Atlee of Theri fame, the movie has got story by ‘Vijayendra Prasad’ of Bollywood fame. and music by ‘A.R.Rahman’. Academy Award winning musician has already released a single from the movie which has already topped the charts within hours after its release.
Mersal is said to be the 100th film in the prestigious Thenandal Studios production. The makers have now announced that they will be releasing another single song from the movie’s album before the audio launch. The official news from the desk of Thenandal Studios is that the next single “Neethane” will be releasing on 17th of August by 6 PM.
The makers have decided to launch the album of the movie in a grand function. If the sources are to be believed, the satellite rights for live telecasting the audio launch function has been taken over by three major TV Channels.
Thalapathy Vijay is said to sport three different getups for the movie and three leading ladies from the industry (Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menon and Samantha) have been signed to play the lead female roles. Yesteryear comedian Vadivelu is also said to play an important role in the movie.
