This young Canada Goose was found impaled with a sharpened stick. Our volunteers responded and were able to rescue her and bring her into the hospital. She underwent emergency surgery that night to remove the stick and repair the damage done to her leg. She is currently recovering well with our technicians performing daily bandage changes and is on pain medication and antibiotics to help her heal. She has a long road ahead her.
