Zach Roerig Instagram – I had such a beautiful time canoeing in the Ocala National Forest today with my family. We saw alligators, turtles, manatees and bald eagles. However the natural beauty of the park was ruined by the presence of motorized boats in the protected inlets. Loud, obnoxious, dripping oil into the waterways. You could see the scars on the manatees from their encounters with these boats. Even the park rangers said they were unable to stop ignorant boat users from destroying this beautiful natural habitat. #GovernorRickScott should be ashamed of how poorly protected the Ocala is compared to other national forests.
