Darshana Rajendran Instagram – Kanavu has been close to my heart from when I was a child. My uncle C. Saratchandran made a film about this alternative school in Wayanad and got me to do a voiceover for one of the kids there. I must have seen the film so many times that I already knew all of them by their names, I knew some of the songs they sang before I even visited. So when I visited them 4 years ago, I found one more place I could call home. I’ve gone back there whenever I could and it’s always been such a lovely experience. This time, my favourite Kanavu people are here in Cochin and I want to make sure they have a lovely time. They are bringing their music and stories to you at Papaya Cafe on the 23rd of December.
