Bianca Haase Instagram – (I know I’m not typically one to post sappy captions, but please bear with me.) Today is officially my birthday, and as I look back on the past year, I see a lot of highs. The last few months, however, have definitely thrown me a lot of curveballs, at times bombarding me and my usual optimism. I, like everyone else, have days where the challenge can be overwhelming, and on those days I do something that I’ve never told anyone before… I make a list of my friends’ names. I sit and write down every person I turn to, admire and love. I then look at those names, and I am reminded that no matter how alone or frustrated or sad I feel, I have been blessed with the most beautiful friends anyone could ask for, and that if THESE spectacular people choose to be near me, I must be doing something right. So thank you to everyone who makes not only my birthday, but also all of my days special. You have given this only child the family she always dreamed of. Some of you may not have been there to celebrate with me this week, but I hope you all know who you are, whether you live near or far, whether we talk often or not.
