I still remember when I walked into a friends house and just cause I had my periods going on I was told to sit separately. The plate I ate in couldn’t be touched by anyone. I felt awkward in the start, but then I thought, why? For me a girl getting her periods is very normal it’s a natural process. Then I realised my friends go through this every month.
In todays generation, living very much in the city, they are untouchable and have to be cornered just cause they are menstruating. This happens every month. And it’s honestly sad. Even if it’s not a shameful thing the way your boycotted, that makes you feel ashamed not cause of yourself but cause of the way they treat you. And my friends and family who are very much modern in every aspect don’t say anything and quietly follow.
Wonder why???
Hoping this video will change their mindset, more than that the mindset of their family who have been carrying this myth in society since ages and call it “Tradition/Culture” or whatever just to make it sound right. I’m sorry this isn’t right.
