Maya Sundarakrishnan Instagram – Kira Kozhambu has three actors playing several characters promising the audience a theatrical journey involving comedy, dance and music.

The kind of comedy that I got to play around with in this one is completely different from what I have tried so far. A satirical storytelling is what it is.
This is something I haven’t done before and this show has travelled around the world with some great actors and I am honoured to follow after them.

My first show of Kira Kozhambu happened at Trivandrum. It was way too special for me what with it being my debut play for Perch and to see the audience roll with laughter.

We are performing in Chennai on the 11 th and 12 th. Please check poster for time and venue.

Maya Sundarakrishnan Instagram – “Perch” has always inspired me. Their plays were what made me want to venture into theatre and at that point I never expected to be working with them. Now I am a part of their super hit play “Kira Kozambu” and it feels like a dream come true!

I am absolutely ecstatic to work with such an experienced cast who I admire and have great respect for.
I cannot wait to bring this piece to life with them.
I’m really looking forward to discovering more of myself as an actor and to also gear up for this next level adventure!
