Ashwin Kakumanu Instagram – So this happened few weeks back. Sonali was asked to act in the big boss ad directed by @kadhai_films with none other than Mr. Kamal hassan. The man has been one of my inspirations with his multiple talents, his dedication to his craft as well as the varied types of films he does instead of doing the same formula film. So it was ironic and surreal that @son_emk got to work with him! And even though I had met him on a couple of occasions before, for the audio launch of Megha, the difference was, this time I got a brief chance to see him work – to rehearse, to improvise, and be in his element. After the shoot, they took a group photo of the cast and crew and then Mahendran sir was gracious enough to introduce us personally to him. Major fan boy moment for me. Oh! BTW My wife acted pretty well too.. 😉
