It is important to continue to Act in ways that inspire, educate, empower, revive, remember, restore a sense of ComeUnity and solidarity. We must do more, collectively now. What will the future say when they remember us? Where will we plant these messages so that they can decode the truth, the time capsules filled with who we really are, and all they can be? Will we be present enough to know that this moment too shall pass and if we don't document it, then it may have never lived? Only we can Right our story. Fill the lines in between with your words, images, culture and philosophy. Demand more overstanding. Hold each other to accountable higher standards of Love that will ultimately define the idea of a successful Human being. Fight hard to Preserve Humanity. I’ve been travelling deep into my mind and heart for a contribution to hard conversation about racial injustice and systematic perpetuation of fear because of the colour of our skin. Collectively we vision for an Accuser Accountability Legislation as the call to Action. The ability to hold a person(s) accountable through both law and policy upon making a false or racially motivated accusation to law enforcement and/or other authorities responsible for protecting the public. (2) The development and revision of mandatory response protocol when processing racially motivated claims by law enforcement. We will not be victims to any system. Creators Innovate... We serve and protect... We use art as a tool for Governance. Our weapons are of Mass construction and we never use outdated methodology when we can Vision a new way forward. Be brave enough. Donisha Rita Claire Prendergast Instagram – We are living amidst systems of thought that perpetuate a state of sub-conscious trauma and division. Arrogance, Fear & suspicion instigate decisions and circumstances of irreparable damage.

We will not be victims when we can Right the story. My Daddy says to advance Intellect over emotion, and my Mom says we Rebel with Love. Grandma says Justice is a one word prayer. I pray these moments will be more than a moment. We’ve listened to the 911 call
 1. The Neighbour reported that a black man @komiolaf was loading luggage into a car, that was her primary target. She was never in fear for her life or that a serious offence was happening. @directedbykells and I were also assumed to be criminals. When she noticed my assistant and photographer/ Filmmaker @ahutchphoto who is white, her tone changed. She soon after remarked that maybe everything is okay. She was being nosy and racist and it was enough to set all this into motion.
2. The 911 respondent escalated the situation to a burglary in progress without properly investigating the neighbour’s claim.
3. The police responded with standard militarized protocol;7 vehicles and a helicopter on the way, denied our truth and sought to further embarrass us at their press conference.
4. The Mayor, who at first apologized to us, retracted her statements emphasizing the value of seniors in society and their safety. Totally distracting from the fact that this lady has placed several racially biased calls that have possibly jeopardized many other lives throughout the course of her life. There have been no apologies. Sorry could never be enough anyway.

Who exactly is responsible for what happened and what are the next steps? Healing is necessary but First we must acknowledge the kind of wounds and how we got here. We are living according to systems of thought that are steeped in the same colonial ideas that validated slavery. Justice can’t be blind forever. Wake Up and Live. We have work to do and we need the ComeUnity to stand up too. @directedbykells @komiolaf @ahutchphoto @jasmine_rand #WeHaveTheRightToBeRight #StandupLove #Accusersaccountability #Artisgovernance #EyesWideOpen #JusticeCantBeBlind
