Blair Fowler Instagram – This past weekend was one for the books, one I will never forget. I’m in Tennessee at my parents house (not so patiently) waiting for my older sister @missellefowler to go into labor. The whole family already loves this little boy so much, and we can’t wait to meet him but also know he will come when he’s ready and the time is right. Saturday was a day of family and fun while we spent the entire afternoon in the pool. My dad and @alexgoot grilled burgers and made tater tots and macaroni for us to enjoy in floating trays (which are actually just old plastic boxes my mom had lying around so she washed them before lunch was ready). We splashed and floated on noodle horses, the men drinking beers, Mom and I sharing a bottle of chilled white wine and Elle gulping down more ice water than was probably in the pool. Sunday was Father’s day. Alex’s last Father’s Day without actually being a father but also his first Father’s Day of kindof being a Father. We celebrated both Alex and my dad by going to see Oceans 8 at the movie theater with reclining seats then eating a huge dinner at Outback Steakhouse. I know this is redundant because I’ve said it a million times, but I’ll say it again. My dad is my hero, my favorite man in the world and the most inspiring individual I’ve ever met. He’s dedicated his life to supporting his family, community and patients. I love you dad, I’d still choose you every time to be my partner in a race around the world.
