Reminiscing to the beginning of @erinbrownthomas (formerly @thisisorganic) and I’s creative partnership. The wind was one of my more brutal dance partners to date (the obvious though unexpected result of essentially doing fabric in a wind tunnel), but nevertheless the end result was so rewarding and was the birth of something really special for the two of us. I’m feeling sentimental, because we are about to launch something which we hope will allow us to create more and more often… for y’all… because we love it… and you. Happy Monday!

It’s a tricky thing… allowing yourself to be seen. Especially in a day and age when there is so much weight placed on that visibility. I, for one, constantly find myself shying away from it and then challenge myself with the question of why? How will you know the depth at which I see you if I do not offer that same vulnerability in return? So here I am. This is me. And I see you. Thank you so much for the new headshots @elainereid. They did it! I do not think I fully realized going in… what it would be like to witness the marriage of one (two- you too Duncan!) of the people I love the most in the world. Can I just say how grateful I am for all of you? Constantly blown away by the support I receive from each and every one of y’all, as well as your willingness and enthusiasm to go on these crazy adventures with me… thank you so much for viewing, sharing, and all of your beautiful comments (I read every single one and they touch my heart and blow my mind!) I love my work. The stunts, the acting, the aerial, all of it. But what I love more than absolutely anything is when all of those worlds meld together, and are joined by dear friends and creative collaborators intent on making something beautiful. “Dancing with the Scars” (check the link in my bio!) a metaphor for the often maddening and bipolar nature of love and relationship. Being vulnerable ain’t easy… sometime it takes a few scrapes and a bit of bleeding to get it right… but it’s a wild ride worth taking so keep on dancing your way through!
