Ryan Higa Instagram – Everyone posting funny kid pics these days… this ain’t me, but it could’ve been.

Ryan Higa Instagram – I knoooooow.. I’m late to the party, but finally got to see Crazy Rich Asians. Now I know most of my Asian friends/followers have been promoting this like crazy (for obvious reasons) and I was going to support it regardless because I have many friends who were a part of it, but I can honestly say that this was just a damn good film. Anyone who knows me or who’s been following me for a while knows that I’m not the best Asian American advocate compared to a lot of my friends in entertainment. I don’t just blindly support every single Asian American movie/project just for the fact that Asians are a part of it. If I didn’t like the movie, I probably would’ve still posted this pic, but I wouldn’t be writing this caption. This wasn’t just a great “Asian American Movie”. This was a great movie and Asians happen to be in it. To me, it’s like the Jeremy Lin of movies… sure, as an Asian American, it’s awesome to see something so different and game changing, so of course we’re gonna hype it up even more than usual, but take away ethnicity and Jeremy is still a great basketball player. Crazy Rich Asians is a still a great movie. Congrats @jonmchu…You killed it! #crazyrichasians
