Anita Hassanandani Instagram – … and then I got married into a family of soldiers! My dad in law served the Indian Army for two decades. My mom in law’s entire family served the nation in the Air Force. The stories I have got to hear over meals of all their escapades have been exciting and frightening. My DIL even submitted his application for Kargil, when the Indian Army was short of their serving officers, AFTER he had retired and was living a peaceful life in Goa. Stories such as these can only make me imagine how selfless and brave our Indian Jawans are. I am proud of the soldiers who risk their life everyday to protect us, just so that we can lead our lives the way we do… RIP You Brave One!
