Beau Garrett Instagram – Even with a delay, life changing. Thank you to everyone single one of you who supported getting this build off the ground. There is no better way forward then education and this school will provide that and a safe space for multiple villages surrounding where our team lived. This community opened their homes and their hearts to us. Endlessly grateful to have had this opportunity alongside an epic team. Malawi
Beau Garrett Instagram – I don’t normally take to instagram to complain about my rather blessed life. I don’t normally have the best track record for seamless travel but after the flight woes of the last few days I needed to voice my frustration with @virginatlantic. I was not allowed on the plane to Africa where I am en route to build a school because of passport space issues. Ladies and gents, unknown fact, if your passport pages don’t have “visa” written on them, they are not valid pages. I learned the hard way and though I do not blame the airline for not letting me board I do blame them for not allowing me to rebook my ticket and attempting to charge me $7,000 for an entirely new one way ticket. I would rather spend that kind of money on a new school, not a coach seat on a flight that should be changed for me for free. So, there. Rant done, but I will say one last thing, it’s hard to have a massive corporation and give every customer complain and issue it’s due diligence. I get that. But when you have not one customer service employee willing to hear me out and help right a situation, then you have a company not worth supporting. I will find my way to the build, I will be late but I will get there;)
