Samia Nkrumah to share our new short film ‘Awaking Sankofa’ with leaders, activists, repatriates and young people from across Africa and the diaspora at the 60th anniversary of the 1st All African People’s Conference in Accra, Ghana yesterday. Conversation around the image and identity of our evolving ‘African personality’ are super important to continue to feed this African Renaissance. There has been 400 years of separation and misunderstandings between us. More intimate time should be spent engaging each other, learning together, healing together. We must become larger in outlook, more critical about where we contribute our time and focus, and how we can use our platform today to fulfill the works we profess to be about. Africa Unite is more than a sentimental song about justice, equality and unity.
