Ashwin Kakumanu Instagram – I captured this while in the backseat of a drive from Bangalore to Chennai at one of the toll booths. It’s one of those sad truths of the world we live in, in a time where there are rapes and shootings and all sorts of abuse. Where this little boy has to sell these bags so he can have a meal. It’s a common sight at traffic signals but we try very hard to look away, to not meet their gaze or hear their voice either because we are numb to it or that we don’t want to face the harsh truth of life’s imbalances. I’m not sure what the takeaway of this is,but I just thought the sight of this boy trying hard to sell this bag and then close the deal,collect his money and walk away was something worth posting. Hopefully it will make you pause and think. Good night.
