Hartley Sawyer Instagram – I am so proud to be on a cast with this person and to call her a friend. When I first arrived on @cwtheflash , Danielle was, of course, killing it in her duties as a main cast member. On top of that, she was making time in her jam packed days to run to production meetings to soak up as much as she could, shadowing directors to saturate herself in the process, and in between takes and set ups, immersing herself in books to prepare as much as possible to tackle her goal of directing an episode. Then, while shooting this episode, she made it all look easy – acting and directing at the same time. This, folks, is NOT an easy thing to do. In a world where we need more female voices in positions of power and decision, I see in her a leader and a person to emulate. Tonight, you all get to see her incredible work ethic pay off. The episode is fantastic. I am truly inspired by her preparation, her focus, and her composure in tackling a task that intimidates the hell out of me.
