Christiani Pitts Instagram – My first bit of exposure to Black Art. “Sugar Shack” by the incomparable Ernie Barns. •This image hung proudly in my grandmothers dining room and in the homes of black people everywhere back in the day. When no one was looking I’d pick a pose from the painting and emulate it. One time my Grammy caught me mid back arch and we couldn’t stop laughing. ♥️♥️
