I thought about not posting this one because it’s a) not funny, and b) includes an opera aria, which might turn people off. But imo, these are two of the most beautiful, truthful songs ever written so I’m posting anyway and I hope u like it 💙

*NERD NOTE* The opera aria is from the opera TOSCA, and at this point in the story evil douchebag Scarpia is like, “Tosca, sleep with me or I’ll execute your boyfriend.” So she sings this song saying that she has devoted her life to art and love and all good things, so why has God put her in this awful situation? Billie’s lyrics “I could lie and say I like it like that” reminded me of Tosca’s predicament, and also structurally the songs are almost identical. FYI 🙃
