Sandra Oh Instagram – Growing up in the 80s, I was often called Yoko Ono. It was a racist slight and I resented it. Then I started learning about her as an artist. I saw @jeanyoon88’s Yoko Ono Project in Toronto in the 90s. I Hammered in a Nail I imagined the pages of Grapefruit I had a chance meeting w/ Ms. Ono at an airport last week. I told her I was hosting SNL and that I wanted to pose as the iconic photo of her. I asked her if that would be alright and she said “okay.” I burst into tears. I cannot express how much it means to me to embody her image.
