In 2014, VP Biden and President @barackobama launched their non-profit program @itsonus. An organization committed to combating campus sexual violence by empowering students to (in Joe’s words) “holler!!” and intervene when witnessing sexual harassment/assault/abuse. He told anyone who’d listen that “we have to change the culture.” Met some real life super heroes last night, including @respected_mind and @vladcarrasco (both of whom will hold public office one day… I’m sure of it.) who both refused to be bystanders.
