I’m incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by friends and family that love me and support me through anything. I came out 5 years ago and can’t believe how much I’ve grown and changed since then. It’s easy to forget how scary and alone being in the closet can be. Pride isn’t just about the LGBTQ community – it’s a celebration of diversity, of love and of acceptance no matter who you are. More importantly, it’s about sending a message to anyone who feels scared to be themselves to know that you’re not alone – you’re beautiful and amazing and loved.
