Today also happens to be the opening day for @GloriaBellMovie, a new film from Academy Award-winner Sebastián Lelio (@lelioseb) starring @JulianneMoore and the subject of today’s post, @JeanneTripplehorn. Matthew created this smoking-hot portrait of Jeanne in 1998 while Jeanne was promoting her role in the @SundanceOrg film “Monument Ave.” To illustrate Jeanne’s punk rock attitude at the time (who knew?), Matthew had her smoke a cigarette AND wear a nicotine patch on her arm – his little joke. Some people wear their heart on their sleeves. Jeanne wears rebellion on hers lol. My father, Tommy Tripplehorn, passed away Friday, March 15th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A musician and original member of the Tulsa Sound, he wasn’t a father in the traditional sense but he had a profound influence on my life and I miss him more than words can express.
