Paul Tellefsen Instagram – It’s odd how encountering death exposes your deepest fears and anxieties about life that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. I’ve been met with a surprising bit of anxiety around my purpose since my uncle died. Questions like, “Am I living for the right things?” “Am I living too safe?” popped up. Which is both terrifying and exciting to ask. It’s like this needed pressure to refine and remember why pressed in. And all my emotions wanted to do was squirm. I was reminded through this that purpose is a process of refinement and most of all is about coming together around something larger. What we can do together will always be greater than what we can do on our own. The purpose journey is undefined and unclear. Be encouraged you’re not alone in asking those kinds of questions right now. But refuse to sit in paralysis or apathy waiting for answers. Just do something. Take a step of faith, serve a purpose bigger than yourself.
