Snakes are nature’s pest control. No wonder our ancestors worshipped them and named their children after them 🥰 As in “Nag”.
As predators, snakes keep prey populations in balance. If not rodents would multiply exponentially in the absence of predators, and eat away our food. This is particularly true in heavily populated environments dominated by humans. There are only 4 varieties of snakes that are venomous in Hyderabad. Learning to identify them and keeping @friends.of.snakes number handy to relocate the venomous ones is an excellent safety measure. Practising conservation of snakes & nature is the greatest way to worship this Nagapanchami🙏🏼
There is something so nourishing about being in nature. The mind is clear to contemplate, reflect and rejuvenate- something so important.
