Ellise Chappell Instagram – Feeling emotional over here. Exactly this time last year I was jumping on a boat with @exxpedition_ and sixteen other incredible women. We were about to sail from Vancouver – Broken Isles – Seattle, to beach clean, and test and sample the ocean water for plastic pollution and toxins. The experience was inspiring, eye-opening, and one that I will treasure and remember forever. It’s been so amazing to see how much traction the issue of plastic pollution has gained over the last year. However, there’s still so far to go, and being reminded that this voyage was a whole year ago feels like, for me, a kick up the butt to keep pushing and working for change – the time to protect our planet is NOW!
