Evanna Lynch Instagram – Ooooh guys guess what day it is?! @kinderbeautybox reveal day! This month our theme for the box is SLEEP ( red lipstick because we make the rules!!) I bloody love sleep. I consider it a VERY underrated self care and mental health practice. I’ve noticed people tend to brag about how little sleep they get and I’m not down with this! This messed up idea that you have to be relentlessly sleep deprived in order to get things done. I used to be really ashamed of how much sleep I get when everyone else seems to function on 5 hours and then a friend dubbed me ‘queen of sleep’ and I was quite thrilled by that title and now I embrace it 🙂 You’re far more alert and productive if you prioritise sleep, and in a better mood too. Can we start a new trend where we brag about how MUCH sleep we unashamedly get? I’ll start!! 9 hours baby!! And there is still time for reading and working and socialising. There is no shame in having strict boundaries for self care and if you need more sleep, then you go get it. Ok that’s my ode to sleep!
