Sameera Reddy Instagram – New dads & loved ones listen up! Its World Breast feeding week and this post is for you to know that you can be the biggest support and encouragement to a new mom! A mother may be depressed, lacking in confidence, worried, or stressed and it affects breastfeeding. These factors do not directly affect her milk production, but can interfere with the way in which she responds to her baby. This can result in the baby taking less milk, and failing to stimulate milk production. So be there for her . ❤️
Understanding the pressure on her physically and emotionally is the best thing you can do. Nothing like feeling loved at such an overwhelming time. 🙌🏻 .
I would also like to give a shoutout to moms who have struggled with low milk production . This could happen due to a pathological reason including endocrine problems or a host of other factors .A few mothers have a physiological low breast-milk production, for no apparent reason, and production does not increase when the breastfeeding technique and pattern improve. There is no reason to shame them or make them feel any pressure in not being able to BF. we need to support all mothers and show love and respect 🍼.

Sameera Reddy Instagram – Why can’t we celebrate failure!? Everyone has a story that needs to be celebrated even if it is a failing one. Because, only through failure and sharing of it can you help others see the tools they too can use to ease this pressure to adhere to what has become the pace and perfection of life which sadly has been set for us by society . We are human . And we will err. It is only when we emerge from our setbacks can we move forward and make a comeback. I strongly feel today I have much more than I did when I was at the peak of my career. My happiness quotient is my priority vs my standing in society. Validation is such a waste of energy . From being crowned as an academic topper to a super successful adult . It’s an endless need to be stamped as ‘ARRIVED’ .
I thought I failed for the last 4 years and refused to step out . There are many levels of how we believe we have failed ourselves and how people will judge us. Whether it’s a college student who can’t keep up with the ranks or a top businessman who over borrowed and felt he couldn’t live with himself . We all beat ourselves for not keeping up with what is expected of us. It is ingrained in our minds from childhood to be competitive and come out to be successful or else “I am not good enough” sets in. The perfect body /the right job / promotion . The perfect bf/ husband or wife . The perfect house /car /school .. We gauge success with money and power .. the list goes on and when does it stop ?
I want my children to understand the importance of happiness vs materialistic acquisitions. It is important to have an identity that strives to achieve but not attach it to the sense of achievement . We are all #imperfectlyperfect 🙌🏻 teach the new generation to celebrate the flaws.
