Michael Ealy Instagram – When I made Barbershop it was hailed as “glimpse into the black community.” This is an example of what it’s like to grow up in the shop. This is an example of the brotherhood and the village it takes. The hardest cut for a barber is a little boy. We can’t sit still, the comb out hurts, and the clippers get hot. The final result is a fresh cut but the work that it takes to get there well… this is it! This is us. This is a “glimpse into how we take care of each other.” There is a lot of sadness out in the world.
