I was signing some decks to put up on the shop site, and thought the pink decks made a nice canvas for painting. I kept to the 80’s theme. One of a kind, hand painted decks are up now on the Natas Shop site.

The whole family just visited the gray whales nursery in Baja, at Laguna San Ignacio. We went down there with @graywhalegin and @oceana to raise awareness about the devastating effects of ‘gill-nets’ that are still being used in the state of California. Thankfully through the work of Oceana they were able to enact a new law banning these devastating nets. The state of California has put up $1M and Oceana and Gray Whale Gin is raising the other $1M to buy back all of these fishing nets that are still being used today. The fisherman then have the option of buying deep set buoy systems, which are much more effective at catching their intended catch, swordfish. As soon as our $1 million is raised the countdown begins on the ban. Please consider donating to this extremely important cause. #oceana #graywhalegin #gillnetting
