I wanted him to watch his legacy take on the world. My granddad, who at five years old in a segregated south took on his first job laying out tobacco to dry in the North Carolina heat. My granddad, who picked cotton and dealt with the real KKK. My granddad, who never once complained— never uttered a negative word about white people, never thought the world owed him anything. He didn’t believe in handouts to see him through anything. He put his faith in God above all else, his family, and hard work—all of things that have been systematically destroyed as we traded our freedoms for government. Granddad raised me to be a lot of things: more stubborn, more daring, and more hot-headed at times than I ought to be. But he didn’t raise me to be a victim. Granddad today is back on the sharecropping farm he grew up on. Except now he owns it. Like so many other Americans who have the courage to believe in themselves against all the odds of leftist dogma and brainwashing— he is a victor. Exceptional in his refusal to accept any of the many excuses made available to him by a society that seems desperate to destroy our self-confidence. This is the book that rejects all excuses, which is why Leftists won’t want it read. In fact they they never intended for its pages to exist as they’ve viciously worked to destroy me over these last two years. Because it’s a book that reveals the truth and the truth must be destroyed in order for their narrative to flourish. Dear America, I give you #BLACKOUT. The Blueprint. The proposal. The way forward. An American escape from a plantation of lies. May God bless us all on this journey into the light. Xx -C

Candace Owens Instagram – Part 2: I believe, with everything in me that the Left is trying to inspire a race war. You need but to turn on the tv and watch the propaganda that plays out on the screen to realize that if minorities do not wake up, we will lose America. If we continue to allow our emotions to supersede our rational thinking— we will lose America. The hope of America rests upon our awakening.
But everyday new dragons are birthed around me. I see blacks, Hispanics, and Asians throwing on MAGA hats and refusing to be told what to think. I see gays and lesbians, refusing to let their sexuality define their principle values and I see white Americans, supporting each and every one of us. The blend of all of us together is red, white and blue. We are people united not by our skin tone, sex or gender— but by the love of this great country.
From the protesters in Hong Kong, to the Gilet-Jaunes in France, to the deplorables in California…every person on God’s green earth that is fighting for freedom serves as my deepest inspiration. We are all dragons breathing fire upon a cancerous narrative.
I wrote this book thinking that a dragon wouldn’t simply just soar away from a plantation that had enslaved it…
It would likely burn it down.
