8 million metric tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year 😩
Half of all plastic manufactured becomes trash in less than a year
A whopping 91% of plastic isn’t recycled and it takes more than 400 years to degrade so most of it still exists in some form 😫
46 perfect of ocean plastic is discarded fishing gear (hey there’s another awesome reason to go vegan 😉)

and my favourite organisation taking care of our oceans is @seashepherdsscs (and at their estore you can get some pretty swank reusable bottles, cutlery, straws etc and proceeds go towards their epic af campaigns!) are there any ways in which you can reduce your plastic use? 😘
