An all women, anti poaching squad who take on trophy hunters in Zimbabwe.
Through this program opportunities are opened up for the most vulnerable women in rural society, and 70% of the operational costs go back into the local community.
Akashinga lives and thrives on a vegan diet as founder @damien_mander felt the “hypocrisy of protecting one group of animals and coming home and eating another”. In the last two decades the lion population in Africa has fallen 30% and rhino populations have seen a decline from half a million to a mere 5000.
