Siddhi Mahajankatti Instagram – ” Did you all get the call ? from Ganesh cheta ?” I hurriedly messaged on our Doore group. It was exactly 2 weeks back that I had gone for my auditions to be DIA. During my audition, Gautham’s , Devika’s, Darshana’s and Kuppi’s role were set (even though they weren’t sure🙈 I kind of knew that they were going to be in the film for sure). “What call ? I haven’t got any” replied Thoma (Akshay). I got a little to embarrassed and at the same time scared cus I didn’t want act with anyone else other than these 6 beautiful ppl. so I immediately called Ganesh cheta back to find out if everyone else is also going to get the call and he said YES! I was relieved. And eventually that evening everyone messaged on the group…. It was the beginning of all happy times for all 7 of us …. From changing the title of the movie Doore to Aanandam, from listening to the whole script while I teared up to getting to know that Vineeth Srinivasan is our producer, from shopping in Lulu to getting a makeover done for Dia (Thanks to bony chech), from rehearsals to actually shooting for the film, from going for the pooja for our first day at shoot to praying at the kaloor church at 1am on the 21st of October 2016…. We have all come a long long way… And I still can’t believe it’s been 3 years since Aanandam released, it feels like yesterday for me when we were all thrilled to go to Dubai for our ‘cheriya padams’ promotion! I’m thankful to god for all the immense happiness he has given to all of us and a big thanks to Ganesh cheta for helping me acheive my life goal in a small kutty way which is to spread happiness! Thank you amma and appa and thimma 🙄 for loving me unconditionally even though I screwed up a lot of times in life 🙈 These small kutty memories I’ll cherish this forever!
