Ashnoor Kaur Instagram – When I was in school, the highlight of Diwali wasn’t the beautiful decorations, sweets and great food but I would secretly wait for all the relatives who would get me Diwali presents, especially money, so that I could deposit it into my little piggy bank and watch it grow. I put everything into that piggy bank, but more than the money, I guess I was saving those memories. Nowadays, you can just text someone Happy Diwali, you don’t have to go see them, just to wish them. I miss the thrill of going from house to house with my parents, tasting all the different Diwali goodies and collecting my Diwali memories.
