Malavika Mohanan Instagram – I have always had Lepidopterophobia..which is basically just a technical term for ‘fear of butterflies’(I know, right?! 😅)..it’s a fear that I’ve had since I was a little child. I remember this one time when I was around 5 years old, I was in Lonavala with my mom. It was a lovely evening and we walked into a garden which had butterflies everywhere! While the few other kids around me were laughing with glee and running towards them to watch them, I was shrieking and running back towards my mum and holding her tight! It’s an irrational fear that I myself have never quite been able to comprehend or make sense of. It’s also something my friends always make fun of me for..they point at butterflies and say “let’s grab one and give it to Malu” 😅 The other day I was out for a morning walk and saw these butterfly wings lying around on the ground and realized that his is probably the closest I would ever come to a butterfly 🦋 #fallenwings
