Brenda Song Instagram – This is from my screen test for #Dollface with @katdenningsss almost exactly a year ago. We had never met, but I had always been such a huge fan of her and her work. It was a dream to just test with her. From the moment I met this incredible woman, she was so warm, kind and generous. Oh yeah and fucking hilarious! I walked out of this test thinking that if I didn’t get this role, I would be devastated. I’ve had a lot of jobs not go my way (it’s the nature of the beast), but I knew this one would hurt. I loved the script so much and Madison was a dream role for me but after this test, I really just wanted to work with Kat. Somehow the planets aligned and here we are a year later on the eve of the premiere. To look back at this experience now, it has exceeded every expectation I could of ever set, and most of that has to do with this incredible lady. Not only is she an amazing co star and boss (she exec produced the show too; what can’t she do), but she has become one of my best friends and I truly can’t imagine my life without her. I feel so grateful that this project brought her into my life and I’m super proud of this show we made. I truly hope you all like it as much as we enjoyed making it. All 10 episodes premiere tomorrow only on @Hulu .
