മലയാള ഭാഷയെ അങ്ങേയറ്റം വികൃതമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ധാരാളം ചലച്ചിത്ര-ടി വി അവതാരകരേയും നടീനടന്മാരേയും നാം കാണുകയും കേൾക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്. അറിഞ്ഞോ അറിയാതെയോ സ്വന്തം ഭാഷയെ വികലമായി ഉച്ചരിക്കുകയും പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാണ് നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ചലച്ചിത്ര താരങ്ങൾ എന്ന ഒരു പൊതു ധാരണയും ഭാഷാ സ്നേഹികൾക്കിടയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ ഇന്നലെ ശ്രീമതി നവ്യാ നായർ ,നൃത്താസ്വാദക സദസ്സ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗം ആ ധാരണകളേയും മുൻ വിധികളേയുമൊക്കെ മാറ്റിമറിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു – മനോഹരങ്ങളായ വാക്കുകളും ആശയങ്ങളും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് അവയെ ശുദ്ധമായും വ്യക്തമായും അവതരിപ്പിക്കാൻ അവർ കാണിച്ച താല്പര്യത്തെ എത്ര അഭിനന്ദിച്ചാലും അധികമാവില്ല. ഹ്റ സ്വമെങ്കിലുംസുന്ദരമായ ആ പ്രഭാഷണം കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ആ ഉദ്ഘാടന സമ്മേളനം മികവുറ്റതായി മാറി എന്നും എനിക്ക് തോന്നി.ചങ്ങമ്പുഴ സാംസ്കാരിക കേന്ദ്രത്തേയും അതിന്റെ ബഹുമുഖമായ കലാ-സാഹിത്യ – സാംസ്കാരിക പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളേയും അവർ പ്രകീർത്തിച്ചതും, അതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഏവരുടേയും ഉള്ളിൽ തട്ടും വിധമായിരുന്നു. നവ്യാ നായർ എന്ന കലാകാരിക്ക് എല്ലാ സൗഭാഗ്യങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാവട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു, പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു!
