Sonali Bendre Instagram – It’s the season of giving and I am thrilled that @sonalisbookclub has been able to make a meaningful contribution! Spent the day yesterday with the kids and team of @angelxpressfoundation at their Juhu Centre. It was a big day for me because we inaugurated our first ever #SBCLilLibrary. It’s a small initiative but it’s something I really hope to grow. I truly believe that inculcating the habit of reading in children is of utmost importance… it opens up their imagination, giving them a chance to befriend characters and travel to far off lands… all with the turn of a page. Reading also improves children’s vocabulary and also gives them a wider perspective of the world. I am so thankful to my SBC community for donating books to our mini library. A special mention of @neha_j_hiranandani who not only donated books but also connected us to @scholasticindia who supported our initiative by donating sooooo many books! I hope to start many more #SBCLilLibraries across the country and encourage kids to enter the magical world of reading 😁 so keep em’ coming!
