Shilpa Shetty Instagram – I think before the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, cleanliness was met with apathy. This initiative and the campaign has brought a welcome change in the country and the awareness has helped to a great extent. Cleansing “Sauch” is an important aspect in Yog and it’s not just the body, but of the mind and the environment too. Keeping this philosophy in mind, this year, I have taken the initiative and planted 480 trees to offset my carbon footprint for the year. Carbon neutrality is the absolute need of the hour. I will continue planting trees and talking about its importance as much as I can, moving forward. I believe it’s time we woke up and smelt the coffee and realize that protecting and conserving Mother Earth is our responsibility; not just for ourselves, but for our future generations. Cleanse the mind with good thoughts, thus good actions will follow and that will result in positivity.
