Upasana Kamineni Instagram – Time to take action ! Make smart choices this 2020.

Upasana Kamineni Instagram – In Hyderabad a startup @holy.waste collects around 100kgs of floral waste thrice a week from around the city 😲 . Thanks @decorbydinaz for being pro planet. Fancy flower arrangements made me sooooo happy till I realised how much waste I was generating. Indian weddings/ functions are all about grandeur and majestic looks, what hurts the most is the amount of flower wastage that nobody seems to care about.
I love flowers and can’t stay without them. I’m gng to start using Local flowers like jasmine, chrysanthemum, ranawara and gazania, which are drought-tolerant as well to become more pro planet.
If u can’t resist then try recycling herbs and flowers into incense sticks or agarbattis. This recycling process is very simple. It involves drying flowers and herbs. These are then powdered and mixed with sawdust and binding powder. Finally, they are rolled into bamboo sticks to make incense sticks.
