Rodger Corser Instagram – Very proud to be involved in this months @marieclaireau (alongside my eldest baby girl and proud TSI woman @zipporraahh ) highlighting the lack of recognition in our constitution of our First Nations people and calling for that to change. Without recognition and acknowledgement of our recent and ancient history we cannot truly move forward and heal as a nation.

Repost from @marieclaireau using @RepostRegramApp – Welcome to our very special February issue fronted by our trio of Indigenous trailblazers – singer Jess Mauboy, actor Miranda Tapsell and model Samantha Harris.

Next year marks the 250th anniversary of James Cook’s first voyage to Australia, yet unbelievably, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are still not recognised in our constitution. Changing this has been on the agenda for a long time but lack of political leadership and willpower has prevented reform. We think this needs to change – NOW!

In this special edition, marie claire partners with dozens of entertainers, activists and entrepreneurs, and 100+ companies who have pledged their support for the constitutional recognition of Indigenous people (as recommended by the @ulurustatement). But the only way to make this actually happen is through people power.
