(Link in bio!) @crisis_uk help those who are at an extremely vulnerable time in their lives get out of a rut and enable them to be able to support themselves! UK has a MASSIVE amount of homeless people and as a London dweller I’ve noticed a huge increase in homeless people on our streets. Going about my everyday London travelling its really hard to see people freezing, alone & struggling! People become homeless for so many different reasons. There are social causes of homelessness, such as a lack of affordable housing, poverty and unemployment; and life events which cause people to become homeless. Mental or physical health problems, victims of abuse, substance misuse can all be trigger. Often they leave care, prison or the army with no home to go to. Many homeless women have escaped violent relationships.
